I have purchased several of these. They make great gifts. They are essentially for speech therapy, but can also just be for toddlers to use playing a memory game with the cards or just playing with the cards in the machine.. the pronunciation is good is very functional durable and a great learning tool for toddlers to learn English and for ESL. The color is as shown.. This is a great learning developmental tool, but also a fun toy.

My daughter has a speech delay and these were bought to help her learn some vocabulary and sight words. The pronunciations are clear, and are immediately followed by appropriate sounds, if applicable. (Cow! Moo!)Pros: ease of use! Very simple to operate. Very few buttons, easy to set up, great little toy!Cons: the cord is VERY short. I think it’s a micro USB, so it shouldn’t be hard to replace. It requires some serious fine motor skills as there is no margin of error.My kiddo loves this toy. I love it, too. 10/10 I would buy again.

Definitely not for a 2 year old. You have to push on the exact spot of the item and a 2 year old does not comprehend that. Great for older children but not for an active toddler. Thank you

This is a fantastic learning toy for children of many ages. The cards are extremely good quality and are double sided so a different image on each side. The voice description of each item is clear, and with a British accent, which was important to me being in the UK. The sounds that accompany some cards (dog, cat, racing car etc) are also realistic. Overall I would thoroughly recommend this item to help with your child’s development

It is wonderful for older toddlers and children with speech or language difficulties, English as a second language, Autism etc.First of all when you turn the kitten shaped card reader on, it warmly greets your child. There is a giant dec of two-sided cards that you insert and the device reads the word for them. I love that the vehicle and animal cards also have sound effects (watch the video). It makes reading and learning so fun.This set is well made and comes with a nice carry pouch to hold everything and a charging chord. Yes it is rechargeable, which is wonderful. The illustrations are very engaging and there is such a wide variety of words. They are colour coded and broken into groups like persons, vehicles, foods, vegetables, alphabet, numbers, essentials, animals etc.One of my granddaughters has speech issues and isn’t speaking as well as she should. This toy makes her giggle and she tries to repeat the words which is really big!
