My 2 year old grandson loved this when he first got it
He has a short attention span but played with it for a while. And will play with it if I offer it among his other toys. The cars pull back and roll pretty far. I love that they are soft so he won’t hurt anyone if he throws them. The mat makes noise when a car is in different spots on the matt. Very cool. Seems well made!

This was a gift to a new mother that I work with who recently had a boy and he is already rambunctious so I think this is a perfect gift for him. He’s a little too young for it right now and I told her that she could put it away for later but she wants to give it to him now. He is crawling and exploring so I think because every thing is soft this will be safe for him to grab, throw, fall on, and even put in his mouth as baby’s do. I do an extensive video overview but I will hit a few points here.I think this toy promotes learning due to the diversity of the vehicles and the separate quadrants that highlight the differences of the vehicles and the tasks they are associated with in the city. There are a number of sound effects that help with differentiating the different characteristics of the vehicles and the institution they are affiliated with.This toy promotes physical activity simply by driving the cars around on the city streets and by having to wind the toys in order for them to drive. Also you will have to chase the cars and if you watch the video you will see that they can roll pretty fast and have a pretty good range so the potential for having to chase a car is 100%. I think with the physically interactive nature of the toy will also help develop some manual dexterity. So yes I feel like this toy promotes exercise and physical development.For the parents, as I illustrate in the video, the cars are soft, made of some type of foam sponge. They are not likely to cause damage if they roll into anything or if they are dropped or thrown at a piece of furniture or another child. Probably one of the best features of the toy is that there is a volume control that gets pretty low while still being able to hear the different sound effects. I think this is important because many children’s toys can become obnoxious after a while listening to the same sounds over and over again. The volume control can help against the toys sounds becoming overwhelming while allowing the child to fully experience the toy’s functions. I think this is a very smart feature.In summary, I think this is a very clever and well thought out product. The safety elements and anti-noise fatigue elements make this a great toy for active kids and parents who value safety and want to let their child experience the full function of the toy. So far the girl is thrilled with it and tells me her child is really enjoying playing with it. I recommend this product.

Very Cute!
I got this for my grandson, who is almost 1 year old. I think he will absolutely love this. The mat unfolds to show a little town and pretty much anything you touch on this mat will make a sound. Thankfully, there’s an off switch if you don’t want the sound (or just don’t install batteries). The cars are a soft sort of foam, which I appreciate since no one will get hurt if my grandson decides to hurl one across the room. If you hold the car on the floor and move it backwards just a little and let go, man will it move! Especially on a hard floor. It doesn’t move nearly as fast (or far) on the play mat. My final picture is of the back side. When you’re done playing, you can fold the velcro sides together to form a little carrying case for the cars. Such a cute idea!

Cute Toy
I ordered this because it looked like a nice toy for an older infant/toddler for learning and playing. The mat is wide enough for the baby to play on. It has sounds which is great because the baby loves sound. The cars are nice and ok for the baby to play with. No unsafe parts. The colors are bright. It is a very cute mat and it is safe. The mat is easy to clean and I don’t have any issues with the mat. I think it is a very cool toy.

Love the cars, not the price
The pull-back cars in this set are really fun and my kids love racing them around! They’re well-made and durable, providing plenty of entertainment. However, the mat is small really small! It limits the play space for the cars and doesn’t seem to match the overall value of the set. Considering the size of the mat, the price feels a bit high for what you get. While the cars are great, the small mat and price point bring the overall experience down.

Really cute and fun
These are much better than I thought they would be. The cars are a really good size, not small like way to many other baby toys. The cars are bright and colorful and soft yet pretty firm, like a fully stuffed pillow. On the bottoms of the car, there’s a tire plate that holds the wheels, it’s closed over by a black velcro so babies don’t even notice it, which is great. I believe the wheel plate can be removed, it looks like it but I didn’t try. T h e cars are the kind you pull back, let go, and they go by themselves. They go a decent distance on bare floors. The mat is soft, colorful, stays flat, and yet it is lightweight enough to move or roll uo to store away anytime you want. The mat takes batteries and all the spots are responsive when baby walks, crawls or pushes on it. This is great small area, we are using it in the play yard. This all seems to be a very well made set and appropriate for babies and toddlers, at a fair price, making this also very giftable. I do recommend this and I hope this info has been helpful.
