My baby is very small, I got a preemie size because he’s six pounds and 19 inches long. It’s too large but will fit him soon. It’s not very soft but softens up each time we wash it and the design holds up well. The mitts are far too large! They could almost fit my toddler, so the mitts are unusable in my opinion
