Darling little rattle
I used to love the rainfall rattle from discovery toys, but they don’t make it anymore so I bought this. No comparison, this is a cheap imitation. But still very sweet for what it is.

High quality
This is GREAT. Feels high quality and the beads fall beautifully not too fast so the baby doesn’t lose interest, there’s also a detailed fan part on the inside that spins as the beads move around. Very cool. The first rain stick we bought was a different brand and was awful, static built up and the beads would just stick to the sides.

Well made baby rattle and it sounds like the Rain
Well made solid baby rattle. It does sound like the Rain. And it is not overly loud.Safe for your baby. The beads inside can not escape from the inside. When you clean it, just wipe the outside rather than submerge it in water. If you submerge it, some water can get in

Great products
My son loved the Hape Hedgehog so I went online to see what other Hape products I could buy, this one immediately caught my eye because I was looking for a rain maker shaker toy. He loves it, right away crawled over to the toy while unboxing and he is crawling only a few days now. If he could’ve ran to this toy he would’ve!

Great toy for my 6 month old grandson. The noise isn’t loud or scary. It’s suttle and the toy is good quality. I would recommend this.

Our infant son really likes this toy. He is fascinated when he sees things inside something else move around. The size and shape of this toy is a great fit for him and he was able to hold it up briefly and play with it even at 5 months. He is in the 97th percentile for his size and with decent fine motor skills for his age but I imagine that most kids should be able to play with this toy by 6-7 month mark. It’s very well made, end caps are wood, the plastic is thick and smooth and the sound it makes is not overly annoying. The only negative I can think of is that some of the little beads inside get electrostatically charged and stick to the spinning fixtures. This doesn’t take away from the overall experience and therefore is not worth taking off a star for. It would just annoy someone with an undiagnosed mild OCD such as myself ;-)I would recommend this to any parent with an inquisitive infant or a toddler who is also preferably relatively careful with things (ie their favorite activity is NOT throwing things across the room). If this thing gets thrown around a lot it would probably get quite annoying. A Skwish may be a more appropriate toy for kids who enjoy smashing things on the floor.

She likes to watch and listen to it so guess it’s doing what it’s designed to do 😀

Lovely rattle with a calming sound. Seems a bit large but I’m sure baby will grow into it.
