Our Recommendations
These nipples are ideal for parents seeking a non-toxic, glass baby bottle alternative by utilizing existing regular-mouth mason jars. They are perfectly suited for newborns and infants aged 0-3 months due to the slow flow rate. We recommend them for breastfed babies transitioning to bottles, as the natural shape often helps prevent nipple confusion. A great choice for environmentally conscious families prioritizing sustainable, USA-made products.
Conclusion
Mason Bottle Nipples offer an innovative, eco-conscious solution for parents wishing to use glass for baby feeding by repurposing mason jars. Their commitment to non-toxic, USA-made materials, combined with a design focused on natural feeding and colic reduction, makes them a strong contender. While some users experience variability in flow rate or leakage, many find them to be an inexpensive, easy-to-use, and effective system, true to the brand's mission of making healthy choices simple.

Toddler has no complaints
Work well with the rings, toddler seems to like it struggled to get her to take anything other then the doctor brown bottles whicj were a pain to clean. We are trying to transition her off so figured getting this for mason jar would be better.

Love these- No nipple confusion for my newborn!
I could not produce enough breastmilk, so we had to supplement with formula since my baby was a few days old. We used a syringe and finger feeding for her formula for the first few weeks. I wanted to continue breastfeeding as much as possible, but my lactation consultant said if we used a bottle for her formula she might not nurse from the breast anymore. I chose these bottle nipples because they are silicone and we can feed her from a glass container instead of plastic, but most importantly in my baby’s case, they are very similar to a natural nipple/breast shape. I have been using these bottles to feed her for 10 days now, starting when she was 3 weeks old, and she is able to switch back and forth fine between breastfeeding and her bottle. I am relieved and grateful I can continue breastfeeding her as much as possible without her rejecting it. One thing I will say is she does spit up more from using the bottles. It may just be because she is so little. We just have to be careful to burp her often. I am pleased that they are easy to clean and very high quality. They do not leak for us at all. It is easiest to press the nipple into the metal ring for the jar first before putting it on the jar and then attempting to screw the ring on last, since the base of the nipple fits snugly into the ring. It makes a very secure seal and the air vents work well without leaking.

Such a great idea. Love these.
After using them for a few months I can honestly say these are great. I wanted to switch over to glass bottles and was so happy to give another use to my Mason jars. I would definitely order these again and recommend them.

Genius ♡
These nipples are awesome and have really simplified the process for me. My daughter as lurangrual malatia (or however you spell it) and I have a heavy let down so I am unable to breast feeding we tried so many bottles but it was all to complicated. I am so happy I found these, i pump and pour right into them. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because they do not have the lab results to say how much the nipple actually produces so my doctor really doesn’t approve of our using these nipples. But it’s the only ones we’ve found that she doesn’t choke and cough through the whole bottle. (To the manufacturers, we need the data to back up the flow rate. I’ve recommended these nipples to many people and my doctor has sent the lab paperwork to you. Please follow through 🙂

Versatile
Happy to use my small mouth glass jars. Most people have them, so if you forget the bottle they are even extra handy! I always keep the nipples in the diaper bag super handy.

Mason jar nipples
Somewhat of a minimalist here. Love that these can be used with mason jars instead of buying a whole separate bottle set up. Easy to clean and maintain. Pops right into a standard jar ring.

Don’t fit Mason Bottle brand rings well
Super odd, and maybe I just got a defective batch but these do NOT fit the mason bottle brand rings like they should for being made to be together. The nipples for Boon and Como Tomo bottles fit much better without leaking AND the flow on those is much better. Don’t even get me started on how these flow WAY too fast for 0-3 months. I’ll be buying Boom and Como Tomo nipples for the Mason Bottle rings instead going forward since overall this is a good system – the nipples just aren’t it.
