The TipMeNot is an innovative baby bottle learning tool designed to combat dangerous bottle propping. Its unique tripod base rests securely on your baby's chest, preventing spills and rolling. Ingeniously designed leaves create a fulcrum, allowing babies to easily tip the bottle to drink before they have the strength to lift its full weight. This encourages early self-feeding skills and independence. The TipMeNot doubles as a safe, lab-tested teether and is dishwasher safe, promoting a safer, cleaner feeding experience and aiding development from newborn through toddler stages.

Product Details

  • Product Type: Baby Bottle Learning Aid & Teether

  • Design: Tripod base with curved “leaves” acting as a fulcrum

  • Key Function: Assists the baby in tipping and maneuvering the bottle for self-feeding without lifting the full weight.

  • Safety: Lab-tested safe for teething; designed as an alternative to bottle propping.

  • Cleaning: Dishwasher safe.

  • Benefit: Prevents bottle rolling/slipping and spills when knocked over.

  • Target Age: Newborn/Infant to Toddler (customer feedback suggests useful around 4 months).

Advantages

  • Eliminates the need for unhealthy and potentially dangerous bottle propping.

  • Allows babies to start learning self-feeding before they have the strength to lift a full bottle.

  • Tripod design provides stability on the baby's chest, preventing rolling.

  • Keeps the nipple elevated when pushed over, preventing milk spillage.

  • Encourages baby to use arms and body to maneuver the bottle, aiding motor skill development.

  • Made from teether-safe material.

  • Conveniently dishwasher safe.

Our Recommendations

Based on the design and feedback, the TipMeNot is recommended for parents seeking a safer alternative to bottle propping and wanting to encourage early self-feeding independence. As a Baby Bottle Learning Tool, it seems most beneficial for infants (around 4 months+) beginning to show interest in holding their bottle but lacking full strength. Potential buyers should verify compatibility with their preferred bottle brand and size, as fit issues (especially with smaller 4-oz bottles) have been reported. Consider it a unique baby shower gift focused on developmental feeding milestones.

Conclusion

The TipMeNot Baby Bottle Learning Tool presents a clever solution to help babies learn bottle handling skills safely and independently, addressing the risks of bottle propping and the challenge of bottle weight for little hands. Its spill-reducing and stabilizing features are practical advantages. However, potential buyers should be mindful of reported bottle compatibility issues and the possibility of it being heavy for some infants before making a purchase.

    Amazing !
This is amazing we tried using the ball bottle holder but it did not fit the bottle we use (medela), so we tried this one and it is amazing ! We have been using this since my daughter was 5 months old she is now 16 months old. I just purchased this again for my friend who is having a baby. I like how baby can hold it on any side to still get milk, and you can wash it in the dish washer. Everyone always asks where I got it from, it definitely is durable. When my daughter is teething she’s always chewing on the leaf. A great purchase definitely happy with it will by for all my friends who have babies

    Pretty Clever
This thing works pretty good. I was kinda surprised at how well it just rests on my baby while she is in the rock n play. I have a toddler and a 3 month old and am alone with them a lot… so sometimes, I have to use this to feed my baby while I tend to my toddler. My baby seems to really like it most of the time and can drink the bottle at her own pace which is nice.. it sits just right on her chest and she has no problem turning away when she has had enough. It doesn’t spill nor does it sit at such an angle that you need to worry about the milk coming out on its own. The baby has to be sucking on it. Also, she is starting to learn to hold it which is nice as well. Great invention.

    Cool product
I got this because with my first baby I would’ve use this a ton! The only problem is that it didn’t fit the bottles my second ended up liking! It was very durable and made great! If it fits your bottle I would recommend it!

Too heavy and the leaves are in the middle of his field of vision, also only fits one of the bottles we use.
UPDATE:We’ve been using this almost daily for a 2 weeks now and I am downgrading from 4 stars to 3 stars. This things is a neat design and does seem to help my son hold his bottle but unless he holds it just right one of the leaves is right in front of his face and he focuses on it. I’m worried about the strain on his eyes from constantly focusing on something that close to his face (it’s so close his eyes cross). It’s also pretty heavy and again, unless it’s placed just so he can’t balance it reliably to keep milk flowing. Another problem is that it only fits the 8 oz regular neck Dr. Brown’s bottle we have. It does not fit the 4 oz Dr. Brown’s, or any of the Avent bottles. It will go on the Avent but where it has to be placed to fit puts the leaves way too close to his face. In the two weeks since I bought this thing my son has figured out how to hold the 4oz bottles, and I got a Nuby 3 stage trainer cup with handles which are (cheaper and) easier for him to hold, so I feel this was a waste of money for us. I think this would be a better product if they made the leaves a bit slimmer and/or out of clear lighter weight plastic, and it had 4 leaves instead of 3 so there wasn’t one right in the middle of baby’s face.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I was really excited to try this product, especially with all the great reviews. When I first tried to use it I was disappointed. My baby is 4 months old. He’s just starting to try and hold his bottle and isn’t strong enough to hold it up yet. This product does help him grab onto it, but it doesn’t hold the bottle high enough (not matter where I put it on the bottle) for him to get any milk out of it if it’s just sitting on his body. So I still had to prop the bottle up with a pillow or hold it. However, this morning my little one actually did hold the bottle up using this device. I was very surprised. He hasn’t quite got the hang of it yet, but I think he’ll probably catch on pretty soon. The TipMeNot is well made as everyone else has said. He also likes to use it as a chew toy because it is firm but rubbery and easy for him to hold on to.

    Must buy!
I have triplets and ordered two of these. I don’t use them for every feeding but I will if they are cranky. It fits the dr. Brown 8oz regular narrow bottles great. I just set them kinda turned to the side in their boppy and set the green leaves to prop it on the edge.

    Can definitely go without.
Honestly pretty useless. Just another unnecessary item. You can definitely just prop with a small blanket or purp cloth. It’s good quality if it’s actually something you think you need.

    Great for multitasking mamas!
Love this! It’s definitely a lifesaver for me as I try to multitask with my newborn. Sometimes feeding her can take up to an hour with paced bottle feeding. Make that a few times per day and we’re looking at a very large chunk of my time being spent sitting and feeding her. I love that I can make her a bottle, sit her upright in her bunny bouncer seat (which also helps her reflux immensely), and give her the bottle with the tip me not! It’s very convenient, it does occasionally slip out of where it should be and pulls the bottle along with it, but it’s a quick fix and mommy gets to eat her own meal or attend to some other household duties simultaneously. Love it!
