    Quality Name, Babys Favorite!
I’m a huge fan of Playtex anything. Tampons, Sippy Cups, Nursing Supplies, Bras…Playtex is a great brand that has been around since my mom fed me the original nursers with the flat cylindrical nipples that were latex. Anyways because they are such a known brand I wanted to try these bottles for the new baby on the way. I love how they also sell variety pack nipples to try with these bottles so if baby doesn’t like one they don’t have to change the whole bottle system and can try different shapes and flow rates. These ones are especially great because they are one of the only bottles I have seen that fit up to 6 ounces. I know you can just buy the 8 or 9 ounce bottles, but when your little one is only taking 2-6 ounces at a time why add more air into their little tummies than you already have. These bottles are very sturdy and seem to work great for venting the air bubble without leaking. Haven’t tried them yet but my only negative is that they are kind of bulky and take up a little more space than I would have like. They are probably on the lower priced end for bottles but not too cheap I would be concerned they aren’t quality. Excited to see how the little one likes these!Edit: Our little ones favorite bottles! Baby loves these and Dr Browns and they seem to be the only two brands she doesn’t choke on. The slow flow is truly slow flow. The pieces, although more than a standard bottle, are super easy to clean. You can hear the venting system working. The price is right. Easy to find at the local Walmart or Target. These are our favorite!

    Lactation consultant recommended, Mommy approved!
These are great. My son took to these very well. When traditional breastfeeding wasn’t working out, I turned to my pump and needed a good bottle. My lactation consultant recommended these. The nipple is appropriate and the bottle is bent, easily allowing you to feed the baby in an upright position to help avoid ear infections. The vent portion does do something, because he does have less digestive stress using these than some others we tried (such as the Medela nipple that came with the pump set, Philips Avent, Chicco). The nipple that comes with the 6oz is slow flow and medium flow for the 9oz. I bought both sizes, but extra slow flow nipples for the 9oz. I don’t know if he’ll ever need a faster flow while drinking breast milk. They have a lot of parts, but I only hand wash the nipples. I disassemble them, and place the top white piece, bottom white piece and blue vent into a dishwasher basket (I like the OXO version, its pretty spacious). The bottles themselves can go directly onto the spokes of your dishwasher. With the bottoms removed, I think the Playtex bottles get cleaner than the other brand once piece bottle designs, as those usually get tossed around and filled with dishwasher water and random food pieces. These are fully cleaned and rinsed every time. My dishwasher doesn’t dry them well, or any other plastic part from the top rack. I take them out of the dishwasher and put them on a bottle rack to FULLY DRY BEFORE USING. I use the 2 tier Munchkin rack, it has room for all of the assorted parts. Assembling wet parts can cause leakage. If the parts are dry, the bottles will not leak! For warming, as it is expressed breast milk that I’m feeding, I take the bottle out of the fridge and place it in a warm bowl of water for about 10 minutes. My son’s daycare uses a crockpot. Neither I nor his daycare have had a leaky bottle.Just assemble them dry and you will have no problems! They’re great bottles.

    No spit up
This bottle has been a game changer feeding our newborn!! He is both breast and bottle fed. There hasn’t been any confusion or bottle refusal. Every feed with this bottle he is not spitting up and has little to no gas! Every other bottle we’ve used he instantly will be spitting up/gassy.Cleaning this bottle is very easy as well! It holds up great in our baby breeza sterilize.

    They leak
I’ve never had this many problems with a bottle. I used the same kind 15 years ago with my first child and they worked great back then. Now they leak everywhere. Imagine you have a screaming child at 2 o’clock in the morning, you go make a bottle only to get back to your room and discover that it is leaked all the way from the kitchen all over your bed all over your child and now you’ve got to stay up the rest of the night to try and clean up the mess that one leaking bottle caused. It is a nightmare. Do not buy these bottles. It doesn’t really matter how perfectly you put them together because the little rubber pieces inside are all different sizes anyway so some just leak. These are a complete waste of money and I am furious I bought these and made my life so much harder than it needs to be.

Amazing! My baby used to have a hard time …
Amazing! My baby used to have a hard time with regular bottles and would choke. He does wonderful with these and I am less stressed while feeding him. A lot of people complain that the bottom comes off and there are extra parts to clean however, it makes me feel better that the bottle comes apart completely to clean. I know that every nook and cranny is getting cleaned because they come apart. There are 6 pieces total to clean 1 the lid 2 the nipple 3 the ring to hold the nipple 4 the bottle 5 rubber insert in the base 6 the base itself. Its only two extra parts which to me is no big deal. Make sure you turn the base and make sure it is tight. If it is not tight it will leak a little but if it is tight it will not. Love these bottles!
