Glass baby bottles, thought they might not be good, but turns out they are great.
First off, we’re new parents. Older, sure. But that doesn’t make figuring things out easer. In fact, I’d say it’s harder, we find ourselves overthinking things. We (I) was concerned with plastic bottles and the whole BPA, etc. issues, so I wanted to try some glass ones.I had a concern that baby would throw them around, but as it turns out, newborn to six months or so, they can’t really throw stuff around. You end up feeding the baby with only a little, supervised assistance from the little one. We’re now entering the throwing stage, but even that isn’t throwing (for us at least), it’s more of a distracted ‘dropping’ of items and we’ve not had any issues with these bottles. There are also silicone straps that can fit these that will give a fighting chance to bungie the bottle to a soft landing or no landing at all!So overall, these worked great.Glass is easiest to clean, it’s dishwasher safe and it’s not plastic (although you can’t get a way from plastic and it has it’s uses, we have Dr. Browns, Avent and other brand bottles too [thanks to the baby shower and all the other mums we know who swore by the brand they had for their kids [and in fairness to plastic bottles, their kids don’t seem to be weird {or any weirder than the bell curve}]).

    Crappy
For some reason the nipple leak through the whole that is supposed to be the vent.

    Nipple flow too fast
The nipples are rated S (for NB+), but the flow is way too fast for NB and/or breastfed baby. It would be okay for a formula fed 6+m old though. My daughter has tried over a dozen bottles, but hasn’t taken a liking to any of them, but this one she at least actually latched on, so would be worth a try for anyone else struggling with getting their baby to accept a bottle!

  4. great bottles
MUM TO MUM Anti Colic Glass Baby Bottles arrived quickly and are everything I hoped for. The shape of the bottle is ergonomic and is easy to hold for both an adult and the baby (if they are ready to self-feed).The glass does not absorb any odors or stains and is easy to clean and sterilize. The nipple is made out of soft food-grade silicone and mimics mother’s breast while feeding. The only downside is the size: I feel like 5 oz size will be outgrown quickly. The manufacturer recommends them for the first three months, which I think is accurate.

Eco friendly and easy to clean!
We try to be plastic free in our household and using glass baby bottles and sippy cups was a clear choice! We have tried a variety of different brands and I have to say that these are a nice quality and good value for the four pack price. Minimal parts and components to each bottle makes them easy to clean and keep sanitized. I do wish they came with multiple nipple flow rate options just so that with one pricepoint you could be stocked to feed beyond the first three months.I will say that these bottles are lightweight which has pros and cons being a glass bottle. Pro is that it is not as heavy as some others and therefore easier for baby to hold. Con being that glass bottles are already a risk for breaking and being a thinner bottle may make you want to be even more careful about accidental drops (or maybe consider this being an at home bottle and not on the go where drops on concrete or hard surfaces may be more likely).

    Great Quality Bottles
These are adorable bottles, but honestly, the glass worries me. What if the bottle accidentally slips out of my hand and hits my baby in the face? OUCH! Or what if I accidentally drop one and it breaks — then I’m out a bottle. But then again, on the plus, I can guarantee that they are sterilized and don’t have any residual germs that might still be present on plastic bottles. They are very easy to take apart and clean with my chainmail scrubber. I also like that you can clean them in a dishwasher, sterilizer, or boiling water – and they supposedly can be stored in the freezer – though I question that.I do like that they are Anti Colic since my son seems to have some serious issues with that as of late — thus, the reason why I ordered this set, to begin with. But knowing that I’m going to have to upgrade to 8-ounce bottles eventually, I checked out the MUMTOMUM page and found that they have some adorable bottles with cute eyes on them. So that’s fun — obviously more for me and less for him. 🙂

    Plastic free
These bottles are plastic free and more eco friendlyThey are easy to use.Only problem is I find that my son sucks in a lot of air from them. They are supposed to be anti colic but I don’t think they are. This is why I’m giving less starsThey are easy to hold and clean/sterilize.They are a small size with a low flow nipple and you can get faster flow nipples for the bottles from the company if needed.
