Brick hard! Baby would not sleep in it.
I spent two months trying to get my baby to sleep in this. She would NOT, so I lost a lot of sleep holding her. The mattress is HARD, like BRICK hard, not just firm like bassinets should be. I finally put her in a crib and she has slept every night since then.My advice; either choose a different bassinet, or go straight to a crib. A mini crib would be great if you need something smaller to keep beside the bed.But do keep in mind that you should never ever add any “mattress topper”, or anything to make it softer as it is a suffocation and SIDS hazard.

My wife and I have used this with daily with zero complaints. Well baby is not a huge fan of it but then again he isn’t much of a fan of anything but his momma, lol. Zero quality issues and is still in perfect condition. Pro tip, the mesh cover it comes with can be used to cover baby’s car seat while on a stroll to keep bugs away and breeze in.

I bought this bassinet a few months ago in preparation for our newborns arrival and only unpacked and assembled this bassinet abit over a week ago. Straight off the bat I noticed the instructions and warnings that come with this product are not in compliance with the “Canadian Consumer Product Safety Act” and the only form of quality control assurance this product comes with is a small piece of paper in mandarin “certifying” the manufacturing date. The bassinet seemed stable at assembly and i decided to give it a shot anyway. My baby is now currently 6 days old and by the 3rd night the bassinet was slating on one side causing the baby to roll against the wall of the bassinet after about an hour or two of use. This product is not safe for any newborn baby. Please stay away from this product and ensure any baby products purchased are up to standard code – I learned the hard way and got extremely lucky nothing bad happened while using this faulty bassinet!
