Awesome toy
I love this toy. The color is great, and it is fun to watch. It catches a baby’s attention and they watch it. It’s fun for adults to watch too. The movement is surprisingly strong and even works on carpet, though it may curve a little on carpet.

Fun gift for little ones
I got this for my niece for Christmas and she is obsessed with it. It is rechargeable which is super convenient. It moves quickly on our wood floor but was slowed down by carpet. My niece is 12 months old and loves to chase it around the house. It keeps her occupied for quite awhile. It does play really annoying music but the music can be easily turned off. Super affordable gift idea for the tiny humans in your life.

Fun toy, annoying after a bit
Dogs haaaate to see it coming. Lol.Toddler loves it, but does get annoyed after a little while of chasing it. It encourages crawling. Crab moves quickly and can startle little ones at times. Overall, the toy is a hit. The music can get nerve wracking when it goes for too long. It “crawls” back and forth and avoids objects and walls. Comes in a variety of colors, we chose the red/yellow combo. The toy went viral for good reason.

Very Fun if you have hardwood/tiled floors!
It gets itself unstuck if it gets suck by chair legs and such. The size is nice! It didn’t have a chemical smell. The colors are extremely bright! It’s built solid, so I think it’s worth the price.The only thing I didn’t like is it doesn’t work on our rug so we have to put our baby on the hardwood floor to try and chase after it. It’s extremely fast but she’s entertained!

NOT for babies
The crawling” is misleading as it says ON THE BOX- NOT FOR CHILDREN Under 3- it has small parts, so keep that in mind. This toy is dangerous for babies. I saw the video that was widely spread, and as my child was now adjusted to tummy time and holding his head up, I thought it might be right for him. He was somewhat interested in it the first time, and seemed terrified of it the 3rd time. I was about to pack up and hide it until he’s older, but today he’s enjoying it again. So I just wanted to make you aware, it is Not for babies. It may entertain the whole family. It is somewhat amusing to watch it scuttle across the floor. But it also gets annoying quickly. It moves way too fast for a crawling or almost crawling baby to catch up with it – but it did catch his attention for quite a while.

Well made and funny
This is well made and funny but be careful when introducing it to 1year olds who may be frightened of things that move (& are seemingly uncontrollable) because it’s a little noisier than I (or the 1yr old) expected, and it made him cry. However the 5 month boy old found it fascinating! No fears, no tears. Just depends on the child. Just explain to a fearful child that it CAN be turned off and it’s not after him but dancing around. It’s a funny toy—-but do that first if you think they might be intimidated. Otherwise VERY CUTE! Some people use it for desensitizing horses and it works well for that too. There are videos on line of something like 10 of these running all over the barn and the horses are just curious, once they’re desensitized to it. Lovely use!!

Most loved toy
My son was a late scooter, we bought this in desperation when he wasn’t crawling at 11 months. He started scooting for the crab that weekend. We’ve had the crab for about 5 months now. My son has requested it everyday since then. With chronic everyday use the crab has lasted us this long but now his gears are slipping so he doesn’t move and makes a loud grinding sound.When at his best he is still very loud on wood floors even without music. He didn’t move as well on carpet so that was not an option for my son. I would still highly recommend this toy as it really did get him moving!
